Betsy Butler
Vice President
Betsy Butler is a retired Sun Prairie High School English teacher, having served for 30 years. Butler and her husband Craig have lived in Sun Prairie for 25+ years with all 3 of their children graduating from SPHS. She proudly continues working with the schools and community as a tutor, as a volunteer with the Sun Prairie Business & Education Partnership serving on their board, and now as a trustee on SPEF.
Donna Weisensel
Secretary
Upon graduation from Sun Prairie High School in 1969, Donna was hired by the district to work as secretary of Summer School and retired after 45 years. She worked in several areas, primarily as the secretary of Northside Elementary. Seeing the world through the eyes of children is one of her most rewarding experiences. In 2019, Donna was invited to be on the Board of Trustees for SPEF and now serves as Secretary.

Carol Albright
Carol is an educator who has served as a Spanish and Communication Arts teacher in Sun Prairie for 40 years. She was an active union leader at the local, state, and national levels. She recently finished serving on the Sun Prairie School Board for 9 years. Carol is an active member of the Sun Prairie Action Resource Committee. Carol, now retired, enjoys her two children and her great companion, Nutmeg, her little dog.
Katie Boos
Katie has over 30 years of experience in elementary education, most of which were spent at Royal Oaks Elementary School. Currently, she’s a dedicated substitute teacher within the district and serves as the manager of the concession stand for East High School Athletics. She is a proud mom of three SPASD alumni. Her husband, Jeff Boos, is a retired educator of Physical Education with 40 years of coaching basketball.
Adam Bougie
Lorie Candelmo
Lorie Candelmo is a retired global executive in the automotive industry, where she worked for over 42 years. She and her husband, David, have lived in Sun Prairie for over 25 years, and her daughter graduated from SPHS. Lorie is an active volunteer and continues to serve on many boards, organizations, and community activities. She loves the community of Sun Prairie, especially the willingness and generosity of people to step up and help make a positive difference!
Chris Cox
Chris joined Bank of Sun Prairie in 2020, currently serving as Senior Vice President, Chief Business Banking Officer. He has 20+ years in banking with an emphasis on business lending and managing extensive portfolios. In his time outside of the bank, Chris is very involved in volunteer activities for economic development organizations, civic and charitable foundations. He and his wife welcomed their second child to the family in 2020.
Chris Franks
Chris is an entrepreneur who has served in leadership roles for 30 years, much of which was in Real Estate and Finance, and most recently as a CEO for a dental industry specialized military contractor and consultant in hospitality. More importantly, Chris is a husband and father of three of three boys. When he’s not working or spending time with them, he continues enjoying working with the amazing team of volunteer Trustees at SPEF.
Jim Grenzow
Jim and his wife, Cathy, are proud parents of three daughters, all of whom graduated from SPASD. He is also a devoted grandfather to eight grandchildren. Jim earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Industrial Education from UW-Platteville. Jim has over 40 years of teaching experience. Now retired, Jim remains active in his community, volunteering with the Sun Prairie Food Pantry and the United Methodist Church.
Andrea Hansen
This is Andrea’s 12th year of teaching in the Sun Prairie Area School District. She is passionate about helping educators find creative ways to bring their ideas to life in and out of the classroom.
Patti Lux
Nancy Nikolay
Nancy is a retired educator, holding various positions throughout her career. She earned a MS in Curriculum and Instruction and a PhD in Educational Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has strong ties to the Sun Prairie Community, having worked in the Sun Prairie Area School District, and her children attended Sun Prairie schools. Nancy believes education is the great equalizer. She is dedicated to supporting the teachers and children in Sun Prairie.
Savannah Pederson
Avery Renk
Avery Renk is a lifelong resident of Sun Prairie and a proud 2017 graduate of Sun Prairie High School (now East). He is an attorney at Hebl & Hebl, serving the community he calls home. Avery is actively involved in the Sun Prairie community through his work with the Business Education Partnership and the Chamber of Commerce. When he’s not working, he can be found cheering on his favorite Wisconsin teams, the Bucks and the Packers.
Brad Saron
Brad Saron has the privilege of serving as district administrator of the Sun Prairie Area School District. Brad is married to Brooke Saron, and they enjoy spending time with their four children.
Pete Simon
Pete and his wife Jen are Sun Prairie graduates as are their children, Carter and Grace. Pete spent 25 years working at the Prairie Athletic Club and the last three years at Prairie Pines Golf Club. Pete has always enjoyed volunteering in the community with an emphasis on organizations that serve Sun Prairie’s youth.
Chris Swenson
Jeff Tubbs
Jeff brings over 30 years of prospecting and client relations experience to his role as Executive Vice President for J. H. Findorff & Son. Throughout planning, construction, and close-out phases, he works directly with the owner, architect, and other key team members on the project to facilitate open communications and ensure positive experiences. Jeff has been with Findorff for nearly 25 years and lives in Sun Prairie with his wife Maralee and has two grown children.
Terry Twedell
Terry is a graduate of Jefferson high school Class of 1965 and UW Whitewater in 1969. She married Peter Twedell in 1969 and they both taught in Sun Prairie for 34 years. Terry is active in many areas in Sun Prairie. She is a member of Sun Prairie United Methodist Church where she is chair of the scholarship committee and on the leadership board. She is honored to be a part of both organizations.

Lisa Wilkins
Lisa Wilkins is the founder and President of TwoFold Marketing, a full-service Marketing Agency located in Sun Prairie. When not working, she can often be found volunteering in the community, working on a fixer-upper on Lake Wisconsin, following local soccer games, or baking, which she feels is her best form of relaxation. Lisa looks forward to working with the team on upcoming events, grants, and fundraising.
